Privacy Policy

Your GPTpin Pro data stays in your browser.

GPTpin Pro uses local browser storage to provide its organization features. It does not transmit your pinned items, folders, preferences, or ChatGPT content to XCTLab or external servers.

No external collection GPTpin Pro does not send locally stored extension information to XCTLab.
No analytics or ads No advertising, behavioural profiling, analytics, or tracking services are used.
User-controlled storage Users control their pins, folders, exports, backups, and deletion.

1. Information handled by GPTpin Pro

GPTpin Pro may store information that the user chooses to create or save through the extension, including:

  • Pinned ChatGPT conversation titles and links
  • User-created folders, labels, and pin names
  • User-selected links or image references
  • Extension settings and sidebar preferences
  • Backup or export data created by the user

This information is stored locally in the user’s browser using Chrome extension storage.

2. No external data collection

GPTpin Pro does not send stored information to XCTLab or to any external server.

GPTpin Pro does not use analytics, tracking services, advertising services, external databases, remote user accounts, behavioural profiling, or the sale of personal information.

XCTLab cannot view the user’s pinned conversations, folders, saved links, settings, or locally stored extension data.

3. ChatGPT page access

GPTpin Pro requires access to https://chatgpt.com/* so it can display its sidebar and provide its pinning and organization features directly on ChatGPT pages.

This access is used only to provide features requested by the user, such as identifying the current conversation, saving its title or link, and reopening saved conversations.

GPTpin Pro does not collect or transmit complete ChatGPT conversation content to XCTLab or any third party.

4. Chrome storage permission

The Chrome storage permission is used to save the user’s pins, folders, labels, selected links, settings, and interface preferences locally.

The information remains on the user’s device unless the user manually exports or transfers it.

5. Sharing and selling information

GPTpin Pro does not sell, rent, share, or transfer user information to advertisers, data brokers, analytics providers, or other third parties.

6. Data retention and deletion

Locally stored information remains in the browser until the user deletes individual pins or folders, resets GPTpin Pro, clears the extension’s browser data, or uninstalls the extension.

Users may also use GPTpin Pro’s backup and restore features to manage their own extension data.

7. Security

GPTpin Pro is designed to minimize data handling by keeping extension information locally on the user’s device. XCTLab does not operate a GPTpin Pro user-data server.

Users are responsible for protecting access to their browser, computer, exported backup files, and ChatGPT account.

8. Third-party services

GPTpin Pro operates on ChatGPT but is an independent browser extension. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by OpenAI.

Use of ChatGPT remains subject to OpenAI’s own terms and privacy policies.

9. Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when GPTpin Pro’s features or data practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are made.
